Designed as a bridge between beginner and traditional American Mahjong play, this intermediate card adds more strategy, more variety, and new concepts without becoming overwhelming. Players can explore approximately 45 line options across familiar and newly introduced sections while continuing to use clear visuals, large print, helpful icons, and easy-to-follow examples.

The Midi Mahjer Card introduces three new sections: The Year, Quintets, and Singles & Pairs. It also teaches two important gameplay concepts: Points and Concealed Hands.

Patterns remain 12 tiles long rather than the traditional 14, helping players build confidence before advancing to a full NMJL Card.
